#2024challenge Revision Workouts

This year’s challenge is to provide students (and teachers) a series of activities to help with their revision. These sessions are available for download below.

Over the 6 weeks running up to the first exam, I aim to provide a series of revision activities for students based upon the principles of building confidence and getting through the tough work of making sure that all aspects of the specification are covered. The schedule for when these will be released is as follows:

My aim is to make these available to teachers ASAP – and for students these will be posted to my social media feeds on the day – as a W.O.D. (workout for the day). Following the positing of the activities, I will post my versions of those activities later that day. Teachers/students are free to download the existing W.O.D.s at any time to help structure their revision.

Week One – Education – Commencing 8th April 2024

Week Two RESEARCH METHODS AND METHODS IN CONTEXT

One thing to note here, is that many methods will look to collect both quantitative and qualitative data and if you were conducting research, this may become really relevant. Contemporary research is often not based on the use of one singular method, but rather a mixed methods approach that allows a researcher to triangulate quantitative and qualitative sources of data to get a more valid and reliable result.
